I love to look at old photos…

The days seem to be getting longer, as I, recover from my riding accident. My breathing has gotten stronger, but my ribs still won’t expand enough, to catch a deep breath. My physical activity is very limited. I suppose it’s going to be a long road to complete recovery. Oh well! I’ve been spending a lot of time looking at pictures taken over a period of 4-5 years.  It’s great to walk down memory lane once in a while. Since I have a number of photo apps on my iPhone, I decided to do some editing on several pictures. I like to take pictures, but I’m not real good at it, and I don’t have any special cameras or props. Old farm implements are fascinating to me, so I snapped these on my phone a couple of years ago. They were taken on a farm in East Texas.

The app used for editing, was Aviary. Not only, do I have it on my phone, but it’s accessible from Facebook as well. I can either use a photo from my Facebook archives, or upload one from my computer. Once I complete the editing, I can save it to my computer. It’s simple and quick to use.

  1. I do also, even old movies just to see the old stuff in the background…..

Aha, old movies are wonderful, aren’t they? You have to appreciate the way of life some 50 years ago, compared to the way we live today. It was so simple back then. I have to say, I love the new photo on your blog. It really paints a picture of the battle, we as, Americans, Christians, are faced with. Bravo! Keep up with the enlightening posts.

  2. Glad to hear you’re still mending. Boredom is the first sign of recovery! Love the pictures!
